Social Science Library: Frontier Thinking in Sustainable Development and Human Well-Being

The Social Science Library (SSL) is a major electronic collection of writings relating to sustainable development and human well-being. The disciplines represented are: Anthropology, Economics, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Social Psychology and Sociology.

The Social Science Library (SSL) contains complete bibliographic references for nearly 9,300 journal articles, book chapters, and working papers. The full texts of about 3,200 of these titles are provided in PDF format.

The SSL is primarily intended for researchers, students, and policy-makers in less-wealthy countries who are working to promote sustainable development and human well-being. While not attempting complete coverage of any of the disciplines represented, the SSL aims to provide excellent examples and working materials in some relevant areas of each discipline.
