Following The Research Workflow using Elsevier Tools

BRAC University’s (BRACU) Ayesha Abed Library and Elsevier organized an author workshop Titled “Following The Research Workflow using Elsevier Tools: Scopus & Mendeley”, the program was held at BRACU’s Mohakhali campus auditorium on 24 May 2018, when faculty members, students, and early career researchers were present. Two Elsevier representatives, Tahseen Afroz, solution sales manager-South Asia, and Vishal Gupta, customer consultant-South Asia, gave presentations explaining how to get the best out of the tools. Mr.Gupta showed how Mendeley can be used to automatically generate bibliographies, import papers from other research software, find relevant papers and access and read papers on the go from anywhere online. Ms. Tahseen Afroz gave an overview of Scopus tools to track, analyze and visualize research worldwide in the fields of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, and arts and humanities. Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Ansar Ahmed, Ph.D. presented the two representatives crests of appreciation.
