| Yhteenveto: | In this study, the stability of Germany's financial sector after the global crisis is discussed. The stability issues are explained in terms of financial system vulnerability and the banking system. Financial soundness indicators (FSIs) prove the stability of the banking system. A stress test was conducted with the Bundesbank. The insurance sector also had a moderate effect owing to the global crisis. Reconsideration of principles and practices of financial sector regulation and supervision is owed to the financial crisis. Supervisory architecture, macro- and microprudential policies, and crisis management are also analyzed. |
