Although growth performance remained constrained under the Poverty Reduction Growth Facility (PRGF), tax and customs administrations were strengthened, macroeconomic stability was preserved, and debt relief under the Heavily Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC) and Multilateral Debt Relief Initiatives (MDRI) helped firm up debt sustainability.
