The Financial Market Authority (FMA) should investigate the use of market-based soundness indicators. Following the recent reorganization of bank supervision responsibilities, the FMA insurance supervisors will need to work even closer with the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB) in supervising financial groups.
