Cataloged from PDF version of internship report. Includes bibliographical references (page 31). The report gives a brief idea about the retirement plan of USA. Additionally, it builds a parameter to measure USA retirement plan on the perspective of Bangladesh. USA retirement plan; the most sensitive and critical retirement plan; requires a lot of calculations, documents, approval, amendments. The main reason of sensitivity is the federal tax freedom issue. This report presents an overview of the history of July Business Services, inception of Data-Path Ltd., how the outsourcing of 401 (k) plan is done, responsibilities of different departments, contribution calculation procedure, vesting calculation procedure, variance calculation procedure etc. July Business Services, which currently handles around 3,500 clients, has taken the advantage of cheap labor and land price in Bangladesh. Data-Path Ltd. handles 2,000 clients of July. Allocation calculation is one of the major parts highlighted in this report, because this is the responsibility that I was assigned with. Allocation calculation is very critical, because it is about handling people’s money. Even a cent’s mismatch can bring huge danger, as the federal tax is directly related to this. Moreover, this report also highlights a separate but very important that how can this USA retirement plan affect Bangladesh or can it be applied in Bangladesh. Some differences between Bangladesh retirement plan and USA retirement plan have been pointed out. Objective, purpose of the report; gained experience, findings have been included. An interrelation with the marketing strategies has been included. Some limitations that Data-Path Ltd. is facing and recommendations to carry forward conclude the report. Mir Raihan Uddin B.
