Now a days eye contact is using effectively in classroom by the teachers and the students. Eye contact is important while listening and speaking because it shows the attentiveness and the interest of the listener and speaker. Making eye contact while giving and receiving feedback is also very important. The purpose of the study is to examine: (a) eye contact in classroom and (b) different attributes of eye contacts. The researcher tried to show the attributes in Bangladeshi context. To make the research more valid, the researcher did a survey among some teachers and students of some private universities. The researcher followed a quantitative questionnaire method to do the survey. The questionnaires were based on the literature review, which were to find out whether the teachers and the students using effective eye contact during class time or not. The result of the survey showed that both the teachers and the students can use effective eye contact in class.
