Cataloged from PDF version of Internship report. Includes bibliographical references (page 55). First Security Islami Bank Limited (FSIBL) formed in Bangladesh on August 29, 1999 as a banking company under Companies Act 1994. On September 22, 1999, FSIBL got permission from Bangladesh Bank to start its business. From then on it started its journey from a conventional bank and gradually headed on their goals and then converted to a modern bank in January 1, 2009, following the Islamic Shariah rules and regulations. The Bank offers a wide range of banking services through its 117 branches in the country, including accepting deposits, discounting bills, conducting money transfer and foreign exchange transactions, and performing other related services such as safe keeping, collections and issuing guarantees, acceptances and letter of credit. I was appointed in the General Banking Division, Accounting Division, Clearing Division and Foreign Trade Division supervised by Masud Hossain, FAVP & Second Manager of the Mohakhali Branch. Being an intern, I gained knowledge on the products offered by FSIBL and had assisted in dealing with the customers constantly. I am doing my internship report on “Ratio Analysis of First Security Islami Bank Limited.” This report is designed in a few chapters. The first is “The Organization.” The next segment, “Operational Network Organogram of FSIBL” contains the functions and objectives of different departments of FSIBL. The third chapter is on ‘The Vision for Future,” then “Job Responsibility in FSIBL,” then “Description of the Project.” The last chapter, “Financial Performance” includes analysis of different ratios of FSIBL. At the end, I have found out some interpretations of the findings. Maliha Ehsan B.
