This thesis is submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Pharmacy, 2022. Cataloged from PDF version of thesis. Includes bibliographical references (pages 41-44). Pfizer-BioNTech, Oxford-AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, and Moderna have all recently introduced vaccines to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in Bangladesh. These vaccines have been associated with mild-to-moderate adverse events during clinical trials. Thus, we sought to assess the short-term adverse effects of vaccination. An internet-based survey of 210 Bangladeshi citizens was conducted from January 20 to February 10, 2022. In our survey, we discovered that respondents who received the Moderna vaccine experienced a greater number of adverse events. And the most frequently reported adverse reactions to all vaccines were fever, muscle aches, headache aches, and fatigue. Additionally, we used a chi-square test to determine the relationship between vaccine type and side effects. The survey found that the type of vaccine used is associated with post-vaccination side effects. Samiha Zaha Afrida B.
