Cataloged from the PDF version of the research paper. Includes bibliographical references (pages 28-29). From the middle of 2022, Bangladesh is facing a shortage of US dollar. Also, Bangladesh’s businesses are finding it difficult to open letters of credit (LCs) owing to banks' inability to provide the American greenback needed to finance imports and the central bank's restriction on non-essential imports. The stress seems to be intensifying with each passing day. It is breaking our supply chain and the production for domestic and the export-oriented market is being hampered. The findings of the present study show what are the challenges that are being faced by the businesses. Also, I will add some policy as recommendations for overcoming the challenges that are faced by many businesses. Srijoni Kar M.
