This thesis is submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Pharmacy, 2023. Cataloged from the PDF version of the thesis. Includes bibliographical references (pages 39-40). In this study, the most common assay type for the formulations in British Pharmacopoeia (BP. 2013 edition) monographs was determined. UV-vis spectroscopy, Reverse phase chromatography, Normal phase chromatography, Acid-base titration and non-aqueous titration were found to be the most commonly recommended assay types. Also, some other analytical methods like complexometric titration, redox titration, UV-vis spectroscopy, biological assay have been recommended. Construction of this database will be helpful for educational purposes and future method development. Sumaiya Sultana Ema B.
