This thesis is submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Arts in English, 2022. Cataloged from PDF version of thesis. Includes bibliographical references (pages 41-43). Fairy tales are just as magical as human life. Our own life is a part of the magic that enchants us and makes us unable to see our magic. So we take help as a listener of the fairy tales from a land of once upon a time where we discover our magic in a metaphorical manner. The act of recognizing the relations between our magical world and that enchanting world of fairy tales can be a path to becoming a better individual. This paper concentrates on the three age-old fairy tales, Cinderella, The Little Red Cap and The Snow Queen to establish the idea of emphasizing the importance of a neutral perspective and interpret these tales with the help of Freud’s psyche structure and C.G. Jung’s psychological individuation process. Therefore, this paper concentrates on acknowledging the grey area between good and evil while searching for the middle ground in human life.
