Includes bibliographical references (pages 86-87). Being on the edge of the shoreline, Chattagram city can be a major polluter of the sea. With rising sea levels and excessive consumption of plastic, the state of the earth's oceans is deteriorating faster than ever before we should question whether any architectural potential exists in these neglected wasted materials instead of burning the plastics. Proper management of solid waste is vital towards ensuring sustainability and safety of health. (Wilson et al., 2006), while subpar waste management consequences in environmental and health hazard (Akolkar et al., 2008; Zhuang et al., 2008). The National 3R Strategy for Waste Management was introduced in Bangladesh in 2010. It also desirable to raise awareness about littering through academic activities and information campaigns to aware people about the consequences of waste – near the marine areas as well as in general – to generate a long-term change in behavior. Behavior change on waste management can raise awareness to consider waste as an opportunity. By organizing different types of activities and experimental designed spaces, it is possible to influence changes in behavior. An experiential approach for designing a waste management learning center can raise public awareness about 5Rs (reduce/reuse/recycle/refuse/redesign) of waste management and discover possibilities of changing the attitude by transforming waste into something that is desired or valued.
