Cataloged from PDF version of thesis report. Includes bibliographical references (pages 38-42). The latest COVID-19 pandemic has had a physical and psychological effect on people of all ages worldwide. Although there has been little research into COVID-19's impact on university students' mental health in Bangladesh, it is an important demographic to study because they are especially vulnerable to stress and mental health issues. As a result, an internet-based survey involving 410 Bangladeshi university students was conducted in February 2021. In our survey, we found that students who reside in rural areas are more stressed in urban areas. Among 410 students, 27% of rural students are extremely stressed due to online education whereas only 6% from urban areas. In addition, we have found that rural students are facing more depressing symptoms rather than urban students. According to our survey among 410 participants, 47% of rural students always feel more depressive symptoms whereas only 11% from urban areas. Tusmeta Tasmin B.
