The aim of this research is to investigate how technology can help to improve student’s language learning in the context of secondary schools in Dhaka city. Firstly, it explores the relevant materials from the existing literature on the historical development of ICTs that helps to determine the significance of the theory in the present oral practice that takes place in the context of a secondary school. After that, it designs the research methods by combining both qualitative and quantitative techniques in order to find the answers of the research questions. Then it provides an elaboration of the research findings based on collected data from the students’ and teachers’ survey, teachers’ interviews, focused group discussion and observation data.
