Transport operations determine the capability of product transportation.The advancement in technology and management foundations has increased mobile loads, delivery speed, service quality, operating costs, shortened delivery times, reduced facility usage, and saved energy.Transport plays a vitalrole in logistics operations.The robust system requires a clear logistics framework and appropriate transportation tools and technologies to link production processes. All companies' procurement/supply chain/logistics departments have been in operation for more than five years. 70% of companies handle transportation themselves, while 30% of companies are 3PL. 70% of respondents believe that logistics is a vitalcomponent in the development of RMG. Transportation logistics are limited to road transport. Most respondents did not know the width of roads for transportation and logistics, but 30% of the respondents believed that the current road width was sufficient for logistics transportation. Forty percent of respondents agree that 3PL can be used to maintain a proper supply chain for a plant, while 50% agree that the state government should monitor RMG growth and infrastructure development in the transportation logistics industry. It is not essential to develop and train 3PLs according to organizational strategy, as 60% of respondents are uncertain about this. Hasibuzzaman Shohag M.
