This internship report discusses the processes and procedures along with the need and importance of training and development in a textile company in Bangladesh. I was fortunate to work in the leading company in the industry: Beximco Limited (Textiles and Apparel Division), based on which this report is made. The primary research conducted for this report goes in favor of the company in terms of a structured training and development system that the company has implemented. The secondary data strongly supports this as well. To add to this, the company is performing extremely well in all the major business areas thanks to the skilled workforce it maintains whom it regularly trains and develops. However, the report tries to shed light on some weaknesses in the training and development process which can easily be improved. Lastly, the report recommends certain improvements which will help the company to grow side by side with its workforce. Kazi Moudud Ahmed B.
