This internship program helped me to learn about the practical scenario of a Telecommunication Company. Robi Axiata Limited is a dynamic and leading countrywide GSM communication solution provider. It is a joint venture between Axiata Group of Malaysia, Bharti Airtel, of India and NTT Docomo Inc., of Japan. Axiata holds 68.7% controlling stake in the entity, Bharti holds 25% while the remaining 6.3% is held by NTT Docomo of Japan. RobiAxiata Limited, formerly known as Telecom Malaysia International (Bangladesh), commenced its operation in 1997 under the brand name Aktel among the pioneer GSM mobile telecommunications service providers in Bangladesh. This report has been presented based on my observation and experience gathered from the company. The organization has many divisions and departments but the focus is given more on the level of Fleet Automation System of Robi Axiata Limited, as I only got the opportunity to work in this division. The report is conducted to draw a conclusion on the effects of System automation. The result that is found is quite considerable. However this project gave me both academic and practical exposures. First of all I learned about the organizational culture of a prominent Telecommunication organization of the country. Secondly, the project gave me the opportunity to work with “Fleet Automation System of Robi Axiata Limited.” in corporate environment. After knowing the scenario of Robi Axiata Limited in terms of their employee satisfaction a lot of recommendation came up. The report also consist recommendations and conclusion according to my point of view, which I think would improve the environment of the organization if implemented. Tanvir Reza M.
