This workshop will cover the basic features and functionalities of Scopus, ScienceDirect and Mendeley to faculty/students/early career researchers so that they get maximum benefit in their research. This will also make the researchers aware about tips and tricks to help them in the research process.

Mr. Vishal Gupta is working with Elsevier as Customer consultant-South Asia.
Mr. Vishal Gupta has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Microbiology from Panjab University Chandigarh and Masters in Biotechnology from Amity University Noida. Mr Gupta has 12 years of work experience in domains of biotechnology, publishing and data analytics. Currently he is working with Elsevier as Customer consultant-South Asia. His major responsibilities include: Engaging with education ministry, NITI Ayog, Key consortiums and Key stakeholders. Vishal is a certified presenter for Author Workshops and a level 3 certified Mendeley trainer. Prior to working with Elsevier, Mr Gupta has worked in Sales and marketing in Biotech firms like Bio-rad and Imperial life Sciences.
